SQUARE MUSIC is a four piano ensemble consisting of Maya-Leigh Rosenwasser, Clare Spollen, Fernando Yada and Jay Keys. They joined forces in 2024 having a shared desire to bring experimental, fresh and playful approaches to programming and commissioning new works for multiple pianos and electronics. Square Music have performed as part of Leeds International Piano Competition and Pianodrome's collaborative event in Leeds (Leeds Piano Trail, 2024) and as part of Daylight Music's Daylight Queerings concert series in London. In 2025 they were invited to perform at the Edinburgh Pianodrome and premiered two new works written for the quartet: Four Pianos, after a symphony by Rued Langaard by James Creed, Ping Pong Workout by Charlotte Glynn-Woods and Last night in Leeds by Kory Reeder, amongst a programme of eclectic music written for four pianos and/or performers.
